In doing some investigating of appropriately themed novels, it occurred to me that Kathy Reichs' Bones books are perfect fodder for our digging and delving program theme verbage. Right in line with digging into something, Dr. Reichs writes about her own profession of forensic anthropology as she brings her main character, Dr. Temperance Brennan, to life in her book and TV series. Dr. Brennan is involved in helping to figure out the mystery of bones left in varying places, states of deterioration and under unlikely scenarios.
